Dubai: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Abu Dhabi T10 League organisers have reached an agreement over No-Objection Certificates (NOCs), paving the way for Pakistani cricketers to participate in the tournament.

According to sources, the agreement includes compensation and facilities worth up to USD 200,000 for the PCB in exchange for issuing NOCs to Pakistani players.
The development has significantly increased the likelihood of Pakistani players featuring in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10, which is scheduled to begin on November 7.
Several franchises and players had approached the PCB, requesting permission for their selected players to participate. Following their appeals, the board discussed the matter with the relevant authorities and considered their requests sympathetically.
Earlier, ESPNcricinfo reported that Pakistani players’ participation had become highly unlikely after the PCB reportedly demanded USD 10,000 per NOC.
The late demand had left franchises scrambling to arrange payments or find replacement players just days before the tournament.
The Abu Dhabi T10 management had reportedly submitted NOC applications shortly after the player draft on September 30. However, the PCB communicated its financial demand only earlier this week.
A total of 16 Pakistani cricketers were selected by five of the six participating franchises during the draft. Some players were even reportedly willing to pay the required fee from their own salaries.
Last month, the PCB also withheld NOCs for Pakistani players selected for the Nepal Premier League (NPL), reportedly seeking USD 25,000 per player. While Hussain Talat and Jahandad Khan continued playing, several other Pakistani cricketers returned without featuring in the competition.
The PCB’s policy regarding NOC fees for overseas franchise leagues has fluctuated over recent years, with the issue gaining prominence around the launch of the International League T20 (ILT20).
